About

Emily

Throughout my life I have worked as a writer and public speaker. I have always loved being able to capture a moment and to put feelings into words, from delivering wedding speeches, to capstone addresses, to slam poetry performances, to now teaching these skills to high school students! Since 2017, I have had the truly beautiful privilege of capturing the many different, colorful, and infinitely unique love stories of this state. From small elopements to large weddings, no two stories have ever been the same! Nothing has been more fun than capturing the unique stories of each and every couple, from adventures around the world to quality Sunday coffees (and occasionally both at the same time)!

By working closely with my clients, I build stories that are true to each couple’s story. From dear memories to goofy inside jokes to the day you first met, each step has been essential in bringing you to where you are today. It’s important to me to create a ceremony that captures these things, ensuring that it glows as much as you both do. Most of all, I love stories that can rooted in laughter, in smiles, and in the appreciation of the small things that make both of you so special to each other. (And if you’re a little bit nerdy? Well, we’ll get along great)!

My specialty is finding that unique connection and putting such a precious thing into words. Whether you are looking for a conventional, non-traditional, unique, or simple ceremony, I will be able to help! Most of all though, know that you will be celebrated and loved as you are. I am a proud LGBTQ ally and strongly believe in the fundamental right we all have to equality, justice, and shared commitment regardless of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Love is love, and it is a gift that truly deserves to be celebrated.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I would love to learn about your love story and to figure out how to put your perfect ceremony into words. Till then, enjoy the sunshine, be recklessly in love, and never stop laughing along the way.
